Sensei Moreno started studying Aikido in the early 70's in Hombu Dojo, Japan under the tutelage of Ni-Dai Doshu Kisshomaru Ueshiba as well as the other Senseis within Hombu Dojo. Sensei trained at Hombu Dojo for several years many hours a day.

In Mexico, Sensei Moreno helped Shihan Miguel Moreno in establishing the practice of Aikido. Besides teaching Aikido, Sensei helped out as a Technical Director of the Mexican Aikido Federation. After many years, Sensei started Aikido seminars through out other countries.

Sensei visits Japan at least twice a year where he maintains his training at Hombu Dojo and keeps up to day with Aikido.

Each year Sensei alongside the other great Senseis of Aikido in Japan, performs with his Ukes at the "All Japan Aikido Demonstration" (Nippon Aikido Enbu Dai Kai). This yearly event is presided by Doshu who also brings the event to a closure.

Since 2000, Sensei has been doing seminars and teaching in the US with the following main goals:

  1. To unite Aikido-katas through out the world regardless of where or with whom they learned this beautiful discipline.

  2. To spread Aikikai's Aikido as pure as it is taught by Doshu Kisshomaru Ueshiba within Japan, through Seminars and demonstrations anywhere in the world wherever it is required.

Today Sensei remains affiliated to Hombu Dojo Japan and the International Aikido Federation (IAF). Sensei resides in the Dallas area (Texas, US) where he teaches Aikido daily from 6:30 AM until 8:00 PM at the Plano Aikikai Aiki-Dojo, and develops new students and Aikido Senseis, continuing his goal of unifying Aikido and practicing our beautiful discipline in as pure an honorable way as possible.
